Agree shorting AMCC, and shorting in general, is risky. Put a lot of margin (that wasn't available a month ago) to work this morning on the long side so am fairly balanced now at 35% long and 65% short. Was 95% short for the past month but was seeing signs that selling was declining this past week. Didn't want to cover but mildly concerned about surprises from the Fed meeting tomorrow.

Will short more AMCC if it hits 15 as I suspect the price action is being caused by short covering.

Dang that Micron, it just doesn't want to stay down! There is huge overcapacity in memory production but investors just don't seem to recognize it's there yet.

Vitesse VTSS warned, Xilinx XLNX warned

VTSS said revenue would be 60 million, not 90 million

Xilinx said turns business off 25% Down -2.50 after hours.

Looks like the Tech secotor has more shorts than Krispy Kreme. Doesn't taste as good...
