Brushwud, and not only does AMD employees "treat each other fairly" and "honor each others rights as individuals," but I also hear they have sugar-plum fairies coming by their offices periodically to serve them lunch, snacks, and soft drinks.

I type this as I'm chained to my desk here at Intel, the slave masters walking up and down the cubicle hallways brandishing whips ... Oh dang, here comes one of them now. Gotta go!

BrushDud - Re: "Respect for people -- honoring their rights as individuals -- is the cornerstone of our culture. We respect individual differences and diversity as qualities that enhance our efforts as a team. We believe in treating each other fairly. Fairness is based on what is right, not who is right."

Uhh..who wrote this little bit of AMD-fiction ?

Atiq Raza - Vin Dham - Greg Favor - Richard Previte - John East - Marvin Burkett - Fran Barton?

I'll bet they were all "respectfully" fired because Sanders WAS RIGHT !!

Instead, he grew up in the Intel culture, in which for thirty years Andy Grove was the management ramrod that made the Intel machine run by confrontational management including screaming at people. (And the machine doesn't hit on all cylinders anymore.)

Andy Grove doesn't run the day to day Operations anymore. Craig does. You're "Constructive Confrontation" scenario is ancient history.

brushwud, re: Intel Culture

Oh, the machine is firing on all cylinders all right. You don't have to believe me, just wait a few months for the confirmation.

One thing you are probably 100% correct about, though. I doubt you would last past the 6 month probationary period, based on what you have said. Better off at AMD.

Kind regards,
greg
