This will be my only post regarding this subject, 2MAR$ doesn't want this thread off topic, and I respect him for that. Japan will own us??? I don't think so At least they better not buy the top of the market like they did last time... Anyone want to buy a golf course? Oh yes, they also better get their banking situation straightened out. Of course the big bad Americans already took their medicine, and fixed their banking problems in the early nineties. Wonder why the Japanese are taking so long?? Their old boy network is alive and well. The last time they tried to 'own' us was the 80's and they bought high and sold low. The time before was Pearl Harbor, and today they are paying to watch our movie. Japan has it's own problems. America has shown great courage with banking reform. welfare reform, AND paying down our debt. This American thinks we will not be speaking Japanese anytime soon. Fred
