REALITY CHECK on PALM beating estimates !!!!!

Message 15997892

Couldn't have summed it up better.

From CNET.com: Palm's actual net loss for its fourth quarter was $392.1 million, or 69 cents per share, compared with net income of $12.4 million, or 2 cents per share, for the same quarter last year.

I know your bullish on this POS, but please.

Why does a rate cut mean a market rally? We haven't seen one yet with the previous 5. I assume you mean the economy MIGHT rebound by the 2nd qtr, or is it the 3rd qtr, or is it 2010???...but if you want to be REALLY forward looking...if the Fed continues to cut rates doesn't that lead to inflationary pressures which will ultimately kill any stock market rally???????
Wait 'till they "only" cut 1/4 tomorrow and watch everything tank. What happens if the Fed RAISES rates by the end of the year?? I mean, look at consumer confidence, durable goods, housing, all UP UP UP!!! Won't the Fed ultimately have to raise??
Small window of opportunity for stocks IMO.
