Not sure about the account being interest bearing....but everybody is giving away something to attract new customers...as for handspring.....I believe they are licensed to use the PALM OS.......Could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they do use palms operating system.......or maybe my brain is fried and they are using a diferent OS....
