Brian, Semi equips have held up perhaps because the belief is the economy will correct just in time to avoid the last leg of the decline which folks like Cary are waiting for. Sun's post talked about business picking up in his field. I actually see some lite at the end of the tunnel as well in my business. Folks cant put off tech buys forever if they want to be ready for the next leg up. Larry Ellison talked up Oracle's business yesterday--i know its larry but even he has to be careful in what he says. And Knip talking about $1.36 gas in Illinois + consumer sentiment yesterday points to an end to this Funk we are now in. mike
