As long as you get the last "we will bury you" word in, you won't post anymore, eh, Elmer? Whatever. Like I said, I'm sure there'll be many, many Compaq software engineers in the next couple years signing the praises of those wonderful Intel compilers that can't even get the SPEC code to run reliably on the Itanic.

Elmer re: they wont use Hammer (Compaq) That may not be entirely true, as shown here from said Compaq person: Message 15998689 Perhaps not what AMD wants from Compaq.. but not terrible either. By the way... since AMD is so doomed... have you put your money where your mouth is and relieved yourself of whatever AMD stock you may have owned - since I do recall at one time you did say you bought some. I asked Paul whether he'd sold off his when he made his latest proclaimaton of AMD's demise a week or so ago... but so far he's failed to answer. .. perhaps you'll be more forthcoming.. Interesting too that despite this "death knell" for AMD the stock actually rose 86 cents today.. investors must be dumb eh?
