Sun Tzu, As tempting as it is to simply give my cash to those worthy charities you mentioned, I think I'll play this one out. Perhaps the constant warnings attack will support me in my fight with the Fed and the tape. For the moment, Xilinx, Photronics, CoorsTek, PRI Automation, Applied Micro Circuits, and a few others are at my side. Tomorrow, others may see the light (dark?) and join in. The bulls are courageously defending their turf, but I still feel a retreat in the wind.

I am also uncertain as to the market reaction to whatever the Fed may do and how the players may trade into the move. With the end of the quarter at hand, it seems reasonable to me that some volatility is in store, and thus some short-term trading opportunities. If we see some selling, I plan to cover and take the win. If we bounce, I plan to press the play and wait (hope) for things to settle back into semi uncertainty.

Now I know the Fed's decision but I'm not any wiser for it. I executed both my long and short trades and am now 60% short 40% long. I also got out of EXDS at 2.10. I have a feeling I will regret that as it is just begining to get interesting. Still, I don't want to have too many trades at hand and I can always get back in if I change my mind. In all, EXDS made enough to cover any mistakes I made today <g>
