Sorry, no. There is so much more to this nation than the transient frustrations of its daytraders. There is so much more at stake here than our own petty individual gains and losses.

It is our country, collectively, that has made Wall Street possible. Not vice-versa.

trade stocks and watch the workings of Wall Street for 30 years , as I have, and you may want to re-evaluate this statement.

Ignore Wall Street for most of your life, as I have, and you come to realize it's insignificance to most. Unless it makes love, gives birth, creates a widget, plants a crop, controls the climate, eliminates disease and death, it's merely a reactionary force that generates income, mostly for middlemen.

Even a collapse like the Great Depression proved a temporary thing. The control of wealth does not constitute a mugging of the soul.
