Legend computes 79% profit increase

HONG KONG (CBS.MW) -- Legend Holdings, China's largest computer maker, said Wednesday its net profit jumped 79 percent in the fiscal year through March, to 860 million Hong Kong dollars ($110 million) from 480.9 million Hong Kong dollars the year before

Legend's revenue rose 56 percent to 27.2 billion Hong Kong dollars. The company sold 2.6 million personal computers, up 77 percent from a year earlier, to top its own estimate by 100,000 units.

re wdc, did you sell for the quick 10% ? or did greed get the better of you, like it did me?

I had said before that $3.50/sh would be strong resistance. We've pushed on it twice in the past few days. I think now, enough over-head shares have been digested. So the third time will be the charm. But only if the market likes whatever the Fed does today. Of course 4.25 will be huge resistance, and will need approx 10 million shares of volume to get through.
