a) ALA is not selling its very profitable fiber business b) Corning despite slowdown is making forture on this c) Siemens isnot even 3-rd rate player in optical space and could not compeate against leaders you have to have different fiber for metro or core. right noe real discovery in fiber space is needed to make 40Gig profitable for sure it will not come from Siemens let make is clear, Siemens is 3-rd rate player in telecom space in general. lots of reselling for minor profit.
