"The Cold War ended on his watch, for goodness sake, and what did he have to say about it? Where was the 'Bush doctrine' for how the world should organize itself now? Where was a new Marshall plan to keep Russia from sliding into chaos and depression? Historians will record a great many missed opportunities"

Nadine,

These are your own words. Not a very good endorsement for the 8 years of President Clinton.

All the Best,
josh

I'm afraid Clinton was successful in your case. Number one, the Gulf War was a major accomplishment and the single war in history in which the entire world community was united against evil. I call that real leadership.

If you are calling what Clinton did during his interminable eight years as "relatively a lot," thank God Bush did relatively little. It will take decades to undo the damage Clinton did to government agencies such as my own, not to mention the military which he drove into the ground like a car he didn't like.

<<<<Clinton managed to bamboozle so many vacant liberal minds in 1992.

He certainly had one of the most highly qualified resumes.

But he managed to do remarkably little with his term, except for the Gulf War
