When we designed out pool, we didn't want a typical backyard kidney shaped pool.....we actually wanted to use ours!

It's a rectangle 42 feet by 22 feet with a spa that's elevated so that there's a spill way over the wall into the pool. The spa itself is 11 feet by 11 feet octagnal shape that is built for a tall person. When I stand in it, the water is up to my chin. On one corner of the pool we've got a 4 1/2 ton moss rock waterfall and at the opposite end of the pool from the spa, we've got a tanning deck. The pool itself is 5 feet deep in the middle and 3 feet 6 inches deep on either end. Great to play in or swim laps. In other words....it has a function to it.
