Jim -- Thanks for posting this article. It's pretty scary: nearly all of these people are reading from exactly the same script. The Fed continues to lower aggressively, and the rebound arrives promptly in the fourth quarter of 2001 and the first quarter of 2002. What's worrisome is that all of these folks are making exactly the same bet -- a bet that places utter faith in Greenspan and monetary policy to save the economy.

But what if monetary policy isn't the answer to our current economic problems?

I think AG should stop cutting rates and let economy and market stand on their own. That way we can really see the truth. I'd say economy will be fine.
