Win,

Re: "Thread, I note that with only to/from Engel and from Yousef on
ignore, the thread header screen is down to 16 posts at the moment ..."

Oooh, I'm already on "secret probation". <ggg> Please don't take
yourself so "seriously".

Make It So,
Yousef

SI has rules of conduct that limit one person to no more than 20 posts in six hours.

"Posting improper or off-topic messages or posting more than twenty messages in six hours."
Ref. item (g) at siliconinvestor.com

To si-techsupport@go2net.com

SI Member Paul Engel has begun to monopolize the SI Moderated AMD Thread by an insanely high number of posts that violates Rule g) of the SI Terms of Use, namely,

"g) Posting improper or off-topic messages or posting more than twenty messages in six hours."

Well, just in the last 3:29, Paul Engel has posted 21 times on ONE THREAD, the Moderated AMD Thread. The period I am talking about starts at 11:53 on 6/27/01 and ends 3:22 PM on 6/27/01. There were also 4 posts on the INTEL thread during the same time period.

Furthermore, many of these posts are annoyingly long, including the complete text of press releases and newswire items. Mr Engel's has monopolized the Modertated AMD Thread with 43 of the last 172 posts, exactly 25%.

While I understand that many will occasionally cross the line on this particular Term of Use, flagrant violation like the above should not be allowed.

Thank you.
