I am in total agreement, Jeff. How could the FCC deal prudently when it was under the leadership of a political hack who admittedly had a personal ax to grind. Not only was Kennard in Nextel's pocket (now on their payroll), but he acknowledged publically that he held Nextwave in contempt. Nextwave never expected fair treatment at Kennard's hands. But it knew that it had one hell of a case when it got to court. The court proved Nextwave right and Kennard wrong. The entities that bid in the reauction knew the score going in. They just don't like to have to play the game in extra innings, particularly since they lost their best pitcher.
