<<I agree, so much going on here, I do want to buy some of these stocks, but also want to load the boat on dow stocks and am looking for some beaten down ones. I think in the long term we go up, and the prices r getting very attractive. Im so sick of worrying r we going lower should I wait, Im ready to turn off the computer and check back in a few years, wont do it, but that is what I would like to do. >>

IMHO, I would be careful about some of the pricey DOW stocks. Although teck is getting killed, thats the best time to buy...meanwhile, we really dont know if Dow heads back to 11,000 or brekas into the 9000's.....what I do know, is companies like jdsu, ntap, dell, intc and etc, etc, are good solid companies that are not going out of business. I dont know if recovery happens tomorrow or 10 years from now, but If I can buy jdsu, sunw, ntap and etc, in single digits, I will not hesitate. Will they drop lower? Maybe, but if I buy ntap or jdsu at $8 or $9 and it drops to $5 or $4, I'll just buy more.....after all, they can only go to zero and an $8 stock can only drop $8. I remember when most of my techies were going up or down $10 in a day....so I will not hesitate to buy quality in the single digits. FO will be back. Storage will only grow. Wireless and handheld wireless connectivity is the future......So, I feel a whole lot better buying jdsu at $10 - $7 then I do at $120, and since I bought it at $120, I would be an idiot not to buy it in single digits, assuming I think they will survive, which I do...same with ntap and a host of others.........at this point, some stocks are just so oversold it is ridiculous. As I said, I dont know when recovery happens...maybe next week, maybe next year, maybe not for ten years, and maybe never at all....but my bet is a recovery sometime in the next 20 years<ggg> with higher share prices then today a result of recovery...now personally, I hope recovery happens faster then 20 years <ggg>, but if it takes jdsu and ntap 20 years to reach $100 a share again, I will be fine with that, as long as i buy a boatload at $5 - $12.........good luck...happy investing....
