Have reached the point in the equity market downturn that bad news is considered a trading opportunity, particularly when it is clear that there is heavy short exposure

Softech, I read somewhere that had the Fed cut the rate by 50 bp, the market would have reacted negatively as it would have been a clear indication that we are not out of the danger... and that a 25 bp now followed by another in the August meeting is better than a 50 bp now and uncertainty till August... rate cuts take their time to affect the economy ... I just hope that a clearer direction emerges soon...
