Nah...they give that 66 percentile schtick to new hires, people that they select from colleges with no job experience. Its not true for people with any kinda experience or people who are working there.....

Re: Repricing, if anybody wants that kinda thing as an employee, i believe they should specially look towards working with management with low morals and with less than ethical values......coz it is an unethical to sc*ew your shareholders.....such companies never do well in the long run !!!! I believe people need to pay closer attention to corporate culture and corporate values of an organisation to find a close fit, else they will be unhappy in the organisation if their values clash with that of the management...maybe thats what the problem with your friends is ?! <smile>. You do remember Chambers chose to forego his annual salary to be able to retain a few extra employees...? Compare that with Gali of Vertical Net.....! Now Gali would have definitely repriced options....but then, he can never build a CSCO !!! LOL

Basics of good corporate governance - management generally aren't supposed to steal from their investors.....<smile>
