Cisco comments: 1:33PM Cisco Systems (CSCO) 19.71 +1.13 (+6.1%): Nasdaq surges to fresh session highs. Hearing that techs being propelled by positive comments out of Cisco at conference in Europe; company apparently giving indications that the inventory correction is near completion, with positive effects likely to be seen in the coming qtr... Banc of America's take is that this would be an incremental positive, although company continues to have a long road ahead of it. BTW, yesterday despite small shortfall, PMCS Sierra said that booking was positive for all three months of Q2. ZO
