You do know that this rebate was also a democratic plan, and rejected by the bushies. It is ironic that i hear so many liberals say they dont want this blood money because the tax bill is so unfair.

Jerome, Hoover is one of my favorites too. An exit west of West Branch they make some compelling arguments as to why Hoover was also on the right track in dealing with the depression and how Roosevelt policies set back the economic recovery. Of course, Hoover was a favorite of theirs too.
