Allright Sid! Glad you checked your thread.

I found the thread buy typing in "Recession" into the SI search function at the bottom of the page and it brought up your thread.

With the market going sideways seemingly hoping for good news, I was preparing for the alternate reality of fully acknowledged recession.

The liquidity issue is definitely key here and was glad the Fed raised by only 25 pts. It is interesting that the USD is able to maintain its strength through all of the bursting of the bubble.

Perhaps the global perception of the strength of the US dollar is an indicator of the future strength of US companies ability to grow overseas and what the economic factors are trying to achieve is a post bubble/normalized/sustainable growth expectation.

I'll check into HPII too. Your unique views on picking stocks based on key fundamental factors is enlightening.

Sid:
Pharms are holding up pretty well isolated from the earnings terror. You might want to check out GNTA. They have a great management team now, and I think an amazing cancer drug that may be used for the treatment of many types of cancer. It could really improve its business and financial situation with a European partner, could happen as we communicate.
You have given me good guidance, I think this investment will work really well for you.
