What happened to all the speculation a week ago about AMD calling around to analysts for information on their earnings models? Much ado about nothing or is the s**t about to hit the fan?" Not gonna happen...In fact the AMD strength of the past 2 days may reflect relatively positive first cut q2 numbers...$1 billion in revenues and $75 million in profits for AMD in q2...Not too shabby in this environment if it happens and probably comparatively outstanding performance vis a vis INTC!
