Lehman put Cisco on its annual list of "10 Uncommon Values" this morning.

At the least, it should generate some buy interest on the open.

Well, I don't agree with much of what you said. As far as my Juniper comment, I read it in an article that they were going to reprice their employee's options. If they didn't do that, then I will admit my mistake. The folks who write these articles aren't always right and neither am I.

The fact that Cisco tells its employees that they target salaries at the 66th percentile is not my opinion, rather it is fact. I challenge you to find any employee that works for Cisco and go ask them that. All they have to do is talk to an HR person and they'll find that out. I've been told that Cisco executives have told their employees this in company meetings. Now, if I've been told wrong, give me proof. Don't give me your opinion that you think I'm wrong.

The rest of what I said was my observation that I wondered if employees across the board would be disgruntled by the option allocation. If your opinion is widespread among Cisco's employees, then I'll be damned happy, because that's one thing less I have to worry about. I just see all these great companies going down the tubes because of the economy and when I hear evidence of the potential for employee disgruntlement, I get concerned.

When it comes to my money I tend to be very conservative and pretty dispassionate, so despite owning a bunch of Cisco shares, I won't defend them to the bitter end. Rather, I would like to listen to potential problems and then evaluate whether I continue holding the stock or not. This option thing seemed to indicate something to me, so I posted it for comment. I didn't post it hoping for alot of people backing me up. I could care less whether people back me up or not. Rather, I glean information from the good posts and the statements people make that seem to jive with everything else I know.

Anyway, I hope your right. I'll be better off if you are.
