my main difference and why i was bullish this time around, is that my weekly stochastics is ready for a oversold hook (yes, a BIG move)

when we did a KOD, my weekly stochs was overbought and peeling over.

right now, its ready for oversold hook.

classic example of multitimeframe analysis. perhaps i will do a chart later tonight.

some other clues:

techs releasing earnings warnings BUT not falling down. same scenario before we had a big rally couple months ago.

and when i saw the high short interest. which means "market has held up very well with all the short interest PRICED IN already. Imagining a short squeeze".

aside from couple weak sectors, look at CSCO, look at ORCL, INTC... THEY HAVE HELD THOSE LOWS OF APRIL.

again, i hope im right. mkt hasn't taken off yet ;)

i was reviewing my trading strategy and was very happy (and lucky) that we had a pre-fomc rally which allowed us to sell into the meeting.

after the meeting, i was able to re-enter at lower prices.

low risk, profitable strategy. but only if the mkt lets you.

A market historian I correspond with points out that "crashes" of 40% or more occurred in the U.S. every 10 years or so until WWII. However, he counts only two "Great Crashes": 1857 and 1929. Let's see ... if there's one every 72 years, 72 + 1929 = 2001! <ggg> Not meant to be taken too seriously...
