"Did anyone notice that 46,500 Oct 17.50 AMD puts traded yesterday (on OI of 15,730). Number one volume contract."

Looks like Paul has decided to act on his q2 projection of $10 million in profit and demise thereafter for AMD...Seriously, though, is it so difficult to believe that the economy has bottomed and that AMD, who have made significant profit in an environment where many others have dipped into red, are now positioned, assuming stable to improving economy, to reap fairly significant revenues going forward from the new opportunites for market share growth opened up by its mobile offerings in q2 going forward and its server/workstation offerings in q3 going forward...

Paul, his cronies and those put purchasers you mentioned are likely to be significantly wrong in their negative AMD assessments...and q2 results for AMD relative to those of INTC are likely to demonstrate just how wrong they are!
