Investrend Research Announces Investment Opinion on eLOT, Inc.
June 27, 2001 12:03:00 PM ET

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2001-- Investrend Research Quarterly Update Report Released On eLOT, Inc.

A Quarterly Update Report on eLOT, Inc. ELOT by Investrend Analysts John Dutton and Gerald LaKarnafeaux, CFA was released today by Investrend Research.

The report maintains a Speculative BUY rating with a 12 month target price of $1.80. The complete report is available at no cost from www.investrend.com/.

The report concludes in its recommendation of eLOT:

"The PlasmaNet agreements are the latest and the most significant of the strategic alliances (or deals) crafted by the eLOT management team to keep the Company in the game until its experience and technology in selling lottery tickets can be put to good use. In biding time, the Company has pragmatically aligned itself with (or acquired) third parties. IMARCS, MDI Entertainment, Network60 and now, PlasmaNet have made their proprietary products and services available to eLOT... We regard the unusually creative form and substance of the June 2001 PlasmaNet Agreement(s) as having very significant benefits for eLOT in the immediate, intermediate term and long-term future. We are maintaining our Speculative Buy recommendation and have increased our twelve-month target price to $1.80 per share."

The report further notes that as the economic necessity for states to migrate to use of the Internet to sell subscriptions and lottery tickets continues to grow, the Federal legislative environment also grows friendlier. Now that eLOT has dramatically improved its financial situation through the PlasmaNet transactions, state lotteries become a more significant probability to take this next step with eLOT. Management has increasing well placed the company to be able to advantage itself of this trend.
