IF it is true. That one is open, and early.

The two in US will give parity to GSM v. CDMA in US.

[That is if Cingular goes GSM. I consider that entirely open until their signature is on someone's contract]

The "handful in LA" is a huge opportunity in a growth market. 18 months ago there were less than 5 GSM carriers in LA. There are now 19. Its contagious.

Where else is CDMA going to increase its carrier base? India yes. Other?
