Michael, I believe TXCC introduced a new high performance ATM switch and that there's a general opinion that within their niche they're doing well even though the sector is in the dumps.. ie selling was overdone and some collecting of relatively over depressed shares ( CRODS ).

Hi Harry,
I didn't get back to you on TXCC and I basically agree with what jg posted:

I would think that a fabless chip company like TXCC would have the ability to ride out the telecom storm and still be in position to excel after the worst is over. They still have plenty of design wins to their credit which should allow for better performance down the road. The key is where do you believe the industry is at? Will the 3+4 quarters of CY2001 be the bottom or will there be further pain for the industry? If you don't believe the rebound will occur in the first half of 2002, then I wouldn't go near these companies and agree that shorting the pops is the best strategy.
