well, if i remember correctly it took three cuts into the '82 low before the market took off. but that was at the END of a secular bear market, with the SnP p/e ratio at 6. the market was clearly undervalued. now we have this: finance.bla.at it's not positive spin...it's the second biggest repo operation of the year...they did the same thing after the last cut, to boost the market (11 billion last time, 7.5 billion this time). 'coup de whiskey' for the stock market... turn date July 5 - 9.
