AD, 2pm amat getting ready to make a big move here. I feel it in my bones and nvls and klac are up much more already. Amat usually follows on a day like today where i would imagine we would have a very strong close. Also my NYSE buddy tells me there is much "marking to market" going on in the last 2 days preceding the semiannual date. That means a MF who owns 1,000,000 shares of cisco at 17 for instance starts agressively buying more at the market to drive it up to a higher closer tomorrow nite so he can show 1.1m at 20 lets say rather that 1m at 18. Many funds do this all at once, i am told, especially on beaten down big caps. I never knew this until today. mike
