THE CASE FOR FSO
(from another thread)

<<<Sure, you can light all the fiber you want. The problem is is that you can't get any of it because it doesn't go into your building, no one has equipment installed, the clec didn't negotiate riser capacity, the clec is tapped out of power in it's space, the clec has frozen it's cap-x budget, the clec is going out of business, the clec's bonds are trading at $9, the clec's stock is trading at $1.50, the clec had lay-offs and their operational staff got hit, the sales rep put the order in wrong, the clec's order entry staff screwed up the order, management ignored the sales rep's request to add the building to the network, the building is forcing everyone in the building to use their new meet me room, the building is capped for new capacity, the building has decided they want to revenue share with the clecs, the building has closed off riser access, the building has decided they want $15,000 monthly recurring to build a new lateral into the building, the building is charging $1,500 per fiber x-connect monthly, the city has frozen new builds, the city is requiring you pave the entire street when you build any new fiber, the state has shut down all construction because a possible indian burial site has been disturbed, a home owner won't sell you right of way, there was a flood that nocked out all fiber communications, there is a holiday coming, there are squirrels living on your NID, your sales rep quit AND an Ice Cream truck ran over the install tech. >>>

Namaste!

Jim

"well, we see how much the coverage is helping on RBAK, CORV, etal.... blaming mgmt for the stock price, in the current industry environment, is ludicrous."

Greg, Who is suppose to take the responsibility
for not executing the companies mission statement?

We have really been relatively easy on management, IMNSHO!
No one cares what I personally think about them.

Please don't say are they responsible for present market conditions. Let's put that aside...Where are some contracts to sell something.

Why no coverage for three to four years. This, I would think is "Ludicrous"
