I only glanced at it, the idea of Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch delivering a whole news channel worth of Limbaugh/Drudge style "objective" reporting is not something I like to think about.

Yeah, I saw the article. I found it interesting and commented on it on the RWET. I'm finding it interesting how different people perceive "objective."

The article was timely for me because my cable just started carrying the channel a couple of weeks ago and I've been watching it to assess for myself the alleged difference between it and all these allegedly liberal news sources. Still working on that.

I've never gotten my news from TV except during disasters. I can't just sit and watch it, but it's often on in the background while I do other things. I've been watching it quite a bit during this little experiment. They recycle a lot of stuff and it gets pretty boring, but I've seen some really interesting stuff, too.

Funny you should mention that article! I just read it at lunch. Scary, huh, how they equate conservative with "fair and unbiased"? I have the impression that Karen read it and is doing a little in vivo experiment this week. I'm interested to see what she thinks of their spin on the news.
