Can Greenie kill the rally ? From Briefing : 14:03 ET FOMC Minutes : FOMC minutes for the May 15 meeting just released; Fed officials discussed perhaps dropping the easing bias soon, and discussed the possibility that the end of the easing process might be near. There was one dissent at the meeting; KC Fed Pres Hoenig preferred a quarter point instead of half point cut. These minutes will be seen as an indication that the Fed does see the end of the easing cycle coming soon, though of course continued weak economic data could quickly change that sentiment.
