I had a job driving a truck awhile back .... Me too! I had a comercial dual trailer license from 1973 through sometime about 1987 when I didn't want to rent a rig to renew the license for the mandantory driving test. (I was actually a bus driver but the license was the same). Most pullovers were to insure that the rig was filled with fuel from the particular state the officer was from as they wanted the taxes. The safety rules made sense, like get some sleep and check the brakes, but they conflicted with the orders from the home office which was to just get from here to there as fast as you can. TP
