All the data I've seen showed no real difference in voting error in this election vs 1996. The slight .2% increase are well within the noise of normal variation. I don't see anyone to blame as there was no problem. Furthermore, in 1996,
there were about 2.6 percent of
spoiled ballots (in Florida). In this
last election, only 2.8.

According to the FEC, Florida cast 5,963,110 votes on Election day. There were 185,000 spoiled ballots, which represents 3.1% of all votes cast, not 2.9%. I hope you do your work calculations with greater accuracy.

I have only been impressed with Katherine Harris' general level of stupidity and self-asorbtion. She was the Supervisor of Elections and she adjudicated a contested election while serving as campaign chair for one of the candidates. What a happy coincidence for her that she was able to decide all issues in favor of her candidate!

Can even some of the conservative minds on this board see that there is a slight problem with this picture?
