What is importance of TDM? Detailed answer - can't easily summarize. Why don't others have this feature. Market for it is not as large as for core IP router. (But CW has both markets open to it.) Support full Power on swap of cards? MUltiple cards. Can replace with "almost no" affect on router. Do you support ATM? Why? Don't support ATM but ATM cross-connects. Both ends of a link have to be Aranea, but other routers can be inbetween. Missed a question. Link aggregation? Yes. What is view on IP bonding? Similar to trunking. Technical long answer. Will Optical Packet Nodes compete with your router? Depends on definition. What we have seen so far, NO. In future maybe yes, but by that time we will be using the same technology as well. Clustering? Replace line cards with cell cards and interconnect the machines. TDM granularity and flows. Granularity not restricted. # of flows is the # of interfaces supported. It's over. DARN!
