she quotes worldwide capacity utilization for Al production at around 90 -- which is probably an annual value -- recent monthly cap utilization numbers for the US producers are much, much lower and haven't been as low for years. I bet ALCOA is net short through forwards.

Also, no indication of how much Al product we import -- it isn't a major fraction --

Despite all the reduced supply, prices don't tick up? No thought or reasoning about that at all.

But she expects reduced supplies to increase prices going forward (no thought to demand) ... good luck to her and anyone following her advice. Luck is what they'll both need.
