The three drillers were purchased today strictly short term unless some fireworks go off tomorrow. I'd like to claim some sort of brilliance for once avoiding being stuck with losing long positions in the drillers, but it was actually forced on me because we were fixing a home for sale and I needed cash. My heart sympathizes with those less fortunate than I.

Razor

I'm holding CRK VPI and some BPT that I got today as a dividend play. Should go ex-div in a couple of weeks and since it is Prudhoe, no NG, strictly oil.

Another interesting survey might be current cash percentage. I'm currently at a scaredy-cat 84%.

Razor,

EEE and drillers:

I share your interest in EEE. My last purchases were around $2.00 US - now totally intrigued by the current price and wondering if the end of the quarter had a lot to do with the collapse - but others feel as well last week/month.

My current driller is Precision. It as well has fallen. At what point would begin to see weakness in the drilling sector utilization. Somewhere along the line here the oil price slide will hurt them as well.
