Sounds like a New Age Woodstock with overtones of mayhem thrown in.... Curious, levy.....how in the heck did you even come across this "event".... (Take a look at the performers....that's in "quotes".....) LOL!

Levy, I WAS going to the "Phoenix Festival"...

But then I read:

The Rules
1. NO Fireworks
2. NO Smoking
3. NO Tiki Torches
4. NO Open Fires
5. NO Sound Systems over 3000w (Geesh, how wimpy!)
6. NO Alcohol

Although I may still go...as there does appear to be an appealing (albeit very minor) degree of danger involved, based on the following item mentioned under the "Safety" issues:

"Rattlesnakes and scorpions, while not extremely common, will be present..."

And this part also has some strange appeal to me:
"We want the Phoenix Festival to be the kind of place where you can paint yourself blue, because it's Sunday, and run around yodeling without fear of embarrassment or institutionalization."

Roger

PS. But heck, the festivals these kids have nowadays are so incredibly tame and boring compared to the stuff we did in the 60's, huh? ;)
