(Q.UME) is forming an alliance with major Taiwanese projector makers including CTX Opto Electronics Corp. and Acer Communications & Multimedia Inc. (Q.ACX), the Commercial Times reports. The alliance is aimed at helping integrate the projector industry vertically and creating new business opportunities for the foundry sector, the paper says.
