Smaller biotechs getting hot. . .some in sympathy with BRL takeover of our little DRMD. Include INHL, ORCH, AVAN, ITMN. . . "if DRMD good enough to be bought out, then so are we"?

SOX is also HOT here. . . +2.81% 25 min into trading day. . . especially AMAT.

A/D Line hottest of all. . .1200 more stocks advancing than declining on NYSE.

VIX wanting to make a new low.

Could we actually seque into a summer [early July] rally ?

And what does Holdility have to do with it? Some are taking off the weekend ahead and leading into the 4th. . . while others are taking off the 4th and the following weekend. . .

Today has a holdility feel about it. No doubt.

Mark, I like your list for both longs and shorts. That list has some volatility. Meanwhile, technology! Yesterday my computer freezes just as I am to triumphantly cover PMCS on a nosedive and now today, my internet connection goes on and off so I do not trust my quotes. Still short 3 issues while mostly cash

WOW!! Good evening, all! We had a big percentage gain today on top of previous days' gains...and I was putting up a JT show where Aerosmith played last night. See post #52855 from this morning before the market open and have a look (you'll have to take my word that my buy stops for LPTH were all triggered in stages from 7.20-7.80, but all the other positions were holdovers from previous days):
LPTH: up 28%
ACLS: down 3%
AMCC: up 5%
ANAD: up 16%
MDCC: up 8%
JBL: up 8%
PMCS: up 7%
TQNT: up 16%
VTSS: up 11%
JNIC: up 17%
RFMD: up 9%
FNSR: up 11%
TLAB: up 12%
BRCD: up 8%
NTAP: up 4%
ITWO: up 3%
SEBL: up 2%
CS: up 9%
JDSU: up 0%
GLW: up 6%
HLIT: up 12%
Average one-day gain on Friday for the above: 9.45%. Most of these were up on previous days as well making today especially impressive! FFIV (mentioned it was getting "toppy") down 4% to 17.57 but up HUGE from our buys as low as 5.50. Others mentioned this past week would include DITC at 6.60, CORV near 3, OPLK near 3, NTRO under 4, NUFO at 7, FBCE at 5, AVNX and AVCI near 7, plus GX, NT & WCOM at 13.50...all good winners. Some modest losers, too: OCPI, CIEN and EXFO immediately come to mind but they pale in comparison to the others (which is what successful position trading is all about, imo).

Some of my other favorites have also been doing very well lately: NUAN, SPWX, PSFT, ELON, FMKT, ADIC, STOR, NXTL, VRSN, RSAS, EXTR, FDRY, LRCX, ONIS.

Our show at Boston's Tweeter Center was terrific! Completely sold out as I believe tomorrow's is as well. Looking forward to going back to Tanglewood for the 3rd and 4th as my lovely wife will be joining me on the road for some "fireworks!"

All the above is my opinion only; do your own due diligence!

Best Regards to All,
Mark Konrad
