I can't understand that either, and then when I change bearish again (which will happen sooner or later), I'll have the same arguments I had three weeks ago about the 2050 before June Expiry. On the other hand, different opinions are actually quite healthy, it forces me, at least, to reexamine my tenets (as if the market was not forcing me enough <g>).

LAPTOP UK:

Some modern laptops have power supplies that will work with British current, but the plugs are different.

Go to www.google.com and put in something like
laptop power converter United Kingdom

and you will find some sites that will give you the
total picture.

Namaste!

Can I bring mine and what do I need to do to bring it up to speed

Don't they use 220V outlets? Think you need a converter.

OT -- Aside from power conversion, you need a phone jack adaptor. I don't know about England, but when I was in France their telephone connectors were about 3" wide and were made to support the phone guy on the pole! Buy an electrical travel kit, is my suggestion.

there is a very reasonable internet place on High Street Kensington...easily accessible by underground...run bythe same guys who own easyjet....has a similiar name "easy...something"...you can't miss it.There is also an internet cafe off Oxford Street..I think on Great Portland Street...bit more expensive.

laptops are expensive to use...remember you get charged for phonetime by the minute and the surcharge at hotels is very high.

my son tells me you can set up a "travel account " with AOL here and they will tell you how to configure your laptop to use in the U>K and then you just pay for phonetime there.
hope this helps.
