You've no cause for worry; I only write prose. My father writes poetry, and there's only room for one poet in the family. I've been earning a living by writing ever since I realized that it's the only thing I know how to do; I suppose that practice has had some effect, though it certainly hasn't made perfect. The other parent took another road some time back. No objections from me; it made my life infinitely easier. I am the parent. I do not babysit. People do comment, mostly favorably. They think it's more difficult than it is. Working at home makes a big difference, as does living in a place where I can pay people to do all the housework. I like it, to tell the truth. Congratulations on the week at Frost....
