Motorolo is in a world of "hurt". They don't have world class
processes anymore and they're struggling to move to the use of
silicon foundries. It surely would be "stupid" for AMD to get
involved in a Motorolo/Apple "fiasco". This would rate right
up there with CPQ's purchase of DEC.

I am not sure how much of those amd can fab because it might require long term commitment. It may push mot into sharing costs for the new fab though
