Well, some action, and a nice day for the portfolio's performance. Was it 2 or 3 days ago I mused that BLUE HP's 2nd month would have a hard time matching the 1st, paced as it was by the unexpectedly rapid zoom of MCLS? Almost fully invested with generally good timing since the start of this month, BLUE HP has already beaten the 1st month. That little gloat probably jinxes the rest of the month, but we'll see.

One can scan the volume spikes & price ranges and see some issues all over the map. DDDP, POZN, KOSN, & RIGL come to mind. A little disappointed not to see bigger volume on CURN, but maybe it's still setting up. Same old early head fake thing there. Circumpachydermal vortex around VGNX; can't figure out what's happening, seems a coiled spring. Phat moves from CALP, strong all day, and RIGL weak early, strong at the end. The latter would have been a heck of play today (as would a short of DDDP off the day high), but BLUE HP got no fills.

Ah, well, a little more research this weekend, as next week may yet bring the opportunities BLUE HP seeks.

Cheers, Tuck
