Big Blurb, Compaq and Hitachi seem to be settling into the 18-month club in terms of the lag between announcement date and actual shipping date. HWP is the one that has done the best job in shortening the lag between announcement date and actual shipping date with lags only ranging from a few weeks to a month or so. Sun seems to be in stealth mode with new managers at the helm.

So in direct answer to your question, probably not in the high-end where they still have to migrate their ESCON installed base (mainframes and storage) to 1 Gbps FICON. Their low-end and mid-range products may go from 1 Gbps to 2 Gbps first before the high-end, IMO.

P.S. TrueSan is approaching $50M-$100M in annual sales now?
