"The Day the Nasdaq Died"

Long, long time ago,
I can still remember,
how that ticker,
used to make me smile

And I knew if I'd have my chance,
I could make those profits dance,
and maybe, wife-y, would be happy,
for a while

But last September made me shiver,
As all my tech stocks began to quiver,
Bad news on the tech front,
I couldn't take..another stunt,

I can't remember if I cried,
when I heard Selectnet done got tied,
But something touched me deep inside

The day...

The Nasdaq...

died......

(Sorry for the silliness...yes I've been sniffing too much paint thinner)

Wanna hear something more silly?

Tom Costello: Who fault is this?
Nasdaq rep: Its our fault, of course, we run the network....

Tom......DUH!

This is the strangest thing I've ever seen- I feel like Alice in Wonderland. I just came in from teaching a voice lesson and my biotechs were leaping up--INCY, IMGN, CYTO, VASO - all at new highs--and the markets were still open... what sort of bizarre action was this? And the manipulation looks - well- I'm speechless.
when I tried to sell them though, WH wouldn't take the trade.

What the heck is going on--??? Was this LEGAL what they did?
