Geez, I change my mind all the time due to new data. I must be a hypocrite. Grain prices go up and I turn from don't sell to sell.

From what I've read Bush has a stance, looks at the evidence and reacts. Not jumping in on the first look. Seems like he's doing what you want on alternative energy and you are still on his case.

Just because his energy policy contains programs for more oil and coal, does not mean he has no regard for conservation, and alternative energy programs. I believe his initial policy called for both.

IMO- he has to make a certain part of it a media dog and pony show, just to keep the Demolibs from crucifying him in the press.
