And that totally discounts the random genetic occurrences, that result in people with no locus in the brain for conscience and empathy. Or accidents that cause injury to the part of the brain where conscience and empathy come from. Are those parents to blame for not killing at birth children whom they could not possibly have known would turn out to be people who would prey upon other people? I think not.

We are all somewhat responsible, because by thinking that we affect reality. But I have always thought that even the fact that we think we are responsible is dictated by what those around us think and by our make up. Really, truly, in the big scheme, I would guess no one is really responsible for anything. It all seems an endless chain of causes and effects to me- could be wrong, not saying I'm carving this in stone, but that's just the way life appears to me. Rambles off topic a bit. Dang and I don't even care.

"It seems that you don't think much of fathers...."

Seems you want to make your own point(s) of what I said that has nothing to do with what I said or my point of view. Have a party. Any time you care to have an actual dialogue, feel free to look me up.
